Every
holiday season, the Hipster Book Club community is inundated
with requests for book-related gift suggestions. This year,
however, the staff of the HBC wants to provide you an ultimate
gift-giving suggestion list for December; we just need your
help!
Tell
us a little about the people for whom you're buying gifts
so that we know what to put on the list. Your descriptions
don't have to be long or very thorough, though. It's as simple
as finishing this sentence: "I need a gift for..."
Here
are some examples:
I
NEED A GIFT FOR...
...my little brother, who likens himself to Holden Caulfield.
...my best friend, who is more in love with Miranda July than
Kyle Olson is (though such love may not be possible).
…my older sister, who wants to read something other than her
usual bestsellers.
...my music-obsessed boyfriend who has a record collection
that would put High Fidelity's Rob to shame.
…a friend who likes to cook.
…my cat, who likes to solve murder mysteries. *

Some suggestions may not be used on the actual list.
