HOW TO QUALIFY
E-mail
the HBC at holidays@hipsterbookclub.com,
and tell us your first and last name as well as your e-mail
address. Feel free to mention how much you love us and want
to have Kyle's babies (as having Yennie's babies would be
scientifically impossible). Please, do not send your mailing
address. If you win, we'll e-mail you and let you know.
All entries
must be received by Friday, December 19 at 11:59 p.m., Pacific
Standard Time.
HOW
WE'LL PICK THE WINNERS
The
qualifying entries will be placed in a hat or possibly a non-denominational
gift bag. HBC Editors Yennie Cheung and Kyle Olson will draw
the winning entries at random on Saturday, December 20.
The order
of the books given away is based on the order of the list
shown above. Thus, the first name drawn will receive the first
book on our list, the second name drawn will receive the second
book, and so forth.
RULES
Each
winner will receive one (1) free book and only one book. Multiple
wins by the same person are not allowed.
Winners
are NOT allowed to pick the book they receive. If the winner
chooses not to accept his or her book, the person forfeits
the prize. No alternative prize will be given.
The names
of the winners and the books each person has won will be published
on the Hipster Book Club website after each winner has responded
with a mailing address. If a winner does not respond by Wednesday,
December 24 at noon Pacific Standard Time, the person forfeits
the prize, and another winner will be chosen.
By submitting
your e-mail address, you agree to have your first and last
name printed on the Hipster Book Club website. The Hipster
Book Club agrees to use your name only in reference to the
contest results. The HBC also promises not to publish your
e-mail address or to give your e-mail address to any third
parties. We won't even use your e-mail other than to contact
you about this giveaway. We swear, we won't send you any of
those chain e-mail surveys asking you if you prefer vanilla
or chocolate when you're favorite is obviously jamocha almond
fudge.
HBC staff
members (that is, the people in our staff box) DO NOT qualify
for the giveaway, but they already got these books for free,
anyway. One-time contributors who are not members of
the staff are eligible to win.
